Is it time to break up with your love handles? Have they overstayed their welcome? Is a flat belly the new Prince or Princess Charming in your life?

I, too, was bitten by the flat belly "bug" around 2007. I was at our local library when "Eight Minutes In The Morning To A Flat Belly" by Jorge Cruise, caught my eye. I thought to myself, "I really want one of those (flat bellies)"; and so my quest began.

Carb and sugar restriction, cheat days, countless exercise programs, protein shakes, etc. followed. I spent hundreds of dollars jumping from program to program, nutritional program to nutritional guru. They all sounded great! But there was something about each one that I didn't like. Some were either way too restrictive, impossible to follow, or just plain no fun.

I had to change my thinking; I was on a quest to find a nutritional format that I could live with for life, not just a few months. Sooner or later, I'd have to ween myself back into real life and face a buffet at some point. Was there anything out there where I could have bacon, buffets, and coffee rolls every now and then? After uncovering a lot of duds, I finally found what I was looking for in 2013. (That's a lot of time and honestly, I almost gave up!)

Finally, something that I could live with for life! I didn't have to eat 6 mini meals every 2-3 hours to keep my metabolism on fire. I didn't have to eat within 45 minutes of waking up. I could eat in bed right before bed if I wanted to! A week's meal could have a dessert or piece of pizza. This was freedom!

Another important concept that I learned was only weighing in once a week. Also, it was imperative to measure. Measuring didn't have a lot of appeal, but as I went through the process, I really learned to appreciate it.

Can you imagine how nice it is to program your mind to have anything you want to eat at anytime? If you're offered something that's really not-so-good for you, you can say that you "can have it, but choose not to." Holy cow, is that brilliant or what?

I decided to keep meticulous records. I knew at some point that I would also be able to help a lot of people. Since then, I've set a goal to help at least 1,000,000 people (to start) reach their ideal weight.
