The iPad Air is every thing I imagined it would be and a lot more. This latest generation iPad is indeed much lighter than past versions; it is now approaching the weight of any Kindle - meaning it is easy to hold for a very long time. The body is in relation to two inches narrower, making it easier to hold. The retina display is indeed darn sharp and seems to be great.

The iPad Fresh air finally pushed me in order to upgrade my original, version hands down the iPad. I bought in which iPad on release evening, seemingly millions of years back. I loved that system, my one complaint was which the iPad was too heavy - the rest about it was great. Now that I've used air, I'll never go back. This was an upgrade worthy of doing.

After using this for 2 days and thinking harder concerning the iPad, I figured you may want a few reasons why this might not be for you. Your iPad works just great so you don't do much a lot more than read email, play upset birds, and look at websites all in your house. In my case I went at a slow turtle first generation iPad to this lightning fast new version - I'm impressed. And if you employ a latest previous version and get a good deal on recycling your current model (read no less than $200) then it might make many sense. This is an expensive device, and a MacBook Air is not all that far clear of the iPad, after you add $60 for any case, $100 for two years of accidental breakage insurance coverage, and maybe $60 for any keyboard. A MacBook Air in $1100 suddenly doesn't look all of that expensive anymore, especially if you choose to buy the 128GB option of the iPad. Of course there is nothing like holding one of the new iPads plus they are super sweet.

Overall, the iPad is by far the best product on the market in the tablet space, and no one will be able to convince me otherwise. The iPad was the original and it continues to be the best. There really is no reason to own any other tablet if you are interested in one. The iPad offers the best user interface, best apps and software, number one customer service with the ability to go into any Apple store for service and questions, and overall top quality.
