If you're the average American, you have owned one, or two, waffle makers at one time or another. You may have used it a few times and now it is probably gathering dust somewhere in your house. I know mine is. In the past 20 plus years, we have owned three waffle makers of varying types. As much as we love waffles, we don't use the waffle maker that frequently. I would make waffles when a family member would make a request, if we have guest or if I have a craving. Then I would dig out the waffle maker from the old appliance graveyard (the closet in the kitchen that holds everything that we don't use regularly) and check to see if it still works. And guess what folks, Murphy's Law, it doesn't work or a part has broken off. I mean, seriously, it's only been used a couple of times, if that, and it was stored away! So off I go to the store to buy another waffle maker. Come to think of it, if I bought everything I see advertised on TV, my kitchen countertop would look like an episode of 'Hoarders, Buried Alive'.

The key to buying an appliance is to choose something out that you need, something that you will use, something that will not take up the entire counter, and most importantly, something functional. Cost should not be a determining factor. If you base your decision solely on cost, you will end up spending money on a piece of junk and spending more money in the long run. The solution, drum roll please, is the Cuisinart Griddler Waffle Plates.

The Cuisinart Griddler Waffle Plates are awesome! You're probably thinking how does this solve the problem with the waffle maker? The plates are $39 and the price of a waffle maker is between $20 and $60 for a good waffle maker. Why buy the Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in-1 Griddler and then spend another $39 for the waffle plates? I can buy a waffle maker for cheaper and call it quits.

I truly love the Cuisinart Griddler Waffle Plates. If my children want homemade waffles it is no problem. We all can sit back and enjoy the 3/4″ inch Belgium Waffles without even worrying about the mess. Heck, I can have the kids clean up the mess. Snap out plates and place in dishwasher.

Adding the Cuisinart Griddler Waffle Plates and the Cuisinart Griddler together makes a great cooking appliance even better.
